Naked Penguin Boy was formed shortly after the Dotcom crash in May 2001 by three brothers. Our first pitch was to Universal Pictures for the International Marketing Toolkit of the film The Fast and The Furious, winning this catapulted us primarily into the entertainment industry where we work with film distributors, book publishers, eGaming (gambling) and Console Gaming (PS3, Xbox, Wii) as well as more traditional clients in the banking, retail and legal industries.

Naked Penguin Boy (or NPB for short) remains a focused boutique agency with a desire to work with energetic brands, creating engaging communications using creative and PR aspects of the digital sphere.

Mission Statement

Naked Penguin Boy’s mission is to use the digital sphere to market and sell our client’s products and services using engaging communications that appeal and interact with the target audience while meeting objectives. It is results orientated, intelligent digital marketing that works for both consumers and brands.

Rowan Heasley

One of the founders of Naked Penguin Boy, Rowans role as Managing Director is to ensure best of class marketing strategy, creative and build across all of Naked Penguin Boy’s (NPB) clients.

Rowan looks after the marketing and new business roles in NPB and helps tie the creative and commercial aspects together to focus on the growth of digital.

Before Naked Penguin Boy

Rowan spent a few years in the army before travelling around Europe, North and South America for a few more, he then settled into retail, running large supermarkets before moving to London working in Futures and Options at HSBC and then as a Software Performance Consultant for companies like Friends Provident, MBNA, Coutts, P&O, Eurostar and the CRB.

Rowans Perfect Day

Ever the “aspiring” intellectual Rowan is a science fiction fanatic, devouring books, movies and games. He still struggles to perfect his Souff London accent and can often be seen quaffing beer at his local and shouting at a TV screen where the latest international rugby match is being show
