Youth Marketing/Promotional Microsite

Marketing to kids is no kids’ stuff, which is why when Men in Black 3 (MIB3) prepared for its theatrical launch we were tasked with promoting the movie on Cartoon Network.

Using a micro-site as the framework we introduced kids to the characters and the general plot and storyline of the movie with a strong focus on the main and interesting characters to catch their attention. Bearing in mind that kids tend to think with urgency that most adults do not and when they want something they want it now, we quickly introduced them to The Alien Mischief game where they get help Agent J find the numerous aliens that are causing mischief in the city.

With aliens popping out of every nook and cranny the kids were time limited as to how many they could grab before taking them back to Men in Black headquarters.

Kids were rewarded for their alien capture by being given access to the competition where they were able to win scores of amazing MIB prizes.

Technology and especially gaming is the breakthrough digital media platform when you are looking towards kids marketing. It’s one of the most popular activities for both boys and girls and as we have noticed its not just kids who play games, we seem to just keep on doing it right through to retirement…
