Website Content Strategy

Background
To mark the launch of the new G.I. Joe movie ‘The Rise of Cobra’, we were asked to design and develop two games to be hosted on the official theatrical website.

Work
G.I. Joe Training Game sees users selected to join the prestigious and elite fighting force of the of G.I. Joe, but in order to do so they must first successfully complete an intensive training programme.

The game spans several levels with each one requiring a different skillset, from hand-to-hand combat to aquatic vehicle training, users must adapt to each new level in order to successfully complete each challenge and unlock special in-game stats.
Upon successful completion, users are given the chance to create a personalised G.I. Joe ID card which they can then post to Facebook and share with their friends, encouraging cross-pollination from the site to Facebook and vice versa.
